  • INNOCENTI company is owned by the British British Leyland Group and started production of Mini in 1961 on the basis of drawings of the Greek Origin of the Alek Issigony Company. The formula was produced in four versions, 997cc, 1275cc, 1485cc and a racing version that used the last two engines but with higher power.
  • The luxury version of Innocenti was produced by the Italian factory in Milan, De Tomaso Group, designed by Bertone using the two 997cc and 1275cc engines. Later, after 1982, a three-cylinder Daihatsu engine was used. In 1990 production ceased. Today the Mini is produced by the German BMW that bought the British company and redesigned the current Mini.
